For every woman...There is man...

" For each women
tired of being labeled as an "emotional female",

there is a man
who has been denied the right to cry
and be sensitive..."

Thanks to Mahshid for the clip.

I think that labeling or stereotyping women as emotional and men as not is a very inaccurate way of characterizing the very complex continuum of human emotional responsivity. In actuality, some women are very emotionally expressive and some are not. The same is true of men. However, there is a pervasive tendency for men in some cultures to hide their emotions for fear of being labeled weak or gay. This swallowing of emotions can lead to some very unfortunate consequences. For example, there is a very high prevalence of undiagnosed and untreated depression among American men. In the worst cases, suicide can be the result. In other cases, the result might be alcoholism or drug abuse, which can lead to spousal or child abuse. I think it would be a very good thing if men could be taught that expressing emotions is not only ok, but that it could lead to an improved quality of life and health.

that's not in question but the question is will they manage to find each other in the limited time...

P.S: whoever parted men with emotions? it's just the brave face men usually put on and the sly act women name emotions...
