I have mixed feelings about the results of the Iraqi elections. On one hand, I am glad that the Iraqi people have been allowed to choose interrum governmental representatives that are not what Bush wanted. However, on the other hand, I think that if an Islamic government emerges in Iraq, life for women could become very difficult. River, of "Baghdad Burning", has a new post discussing how life has already changed, and how women are being coerced to wear hejab.
